End of Summer Safety Tips

Summer is coming to an end and school is starting again. With that, it's time to review how to stay safe. Here are some tips:

Stay Hydrated

Stay hydrated all summer long. Drink plenty of water, and avoid drinks with high sugar or calorie counts. Water helps you stay hydrated and refreshed during the hot summer months. It can also help fight fatigue and stay energized for long days spent outdoors playing in the sun.

Wear Sunscreen

Even as summer comes to an end, it's more important than ever to wear sunscreen. UV rays can still get through the autumn and winter months, so it's important to protect your skin all year round.

Teach Your Children how to Safely Cross a Street

Children under six years of age may not have the cognitive ability to fully understand the dangers of crossing a street. Talk to your child about how to safely cross the street and practice with your child until they feel comfortable enough to do it on their own.
